How to play
Healthy Pod and Combo
Every good pick-up grows your Combo. At 8 and 16 consecutive pick-ups without an incident, the multiplier rises from ×1 to ×2, then ×3.
Velero recovery
Velero restores Kubernetes resources from backups. A recovery restores one life, up to five, and awards ten points when incidents or overload have hurt your cluster.
Nodes increase Capacity
A Node represents autoscaling by one more worker. Every Node adds 30 Capacity, giving your cluster more room for growing Load and making long runs possible.
Reloader refresh
Reloader represents automatic rollouts after ConfigMap or Secret changes. In the game it clears every incident that is already falling toward you.
Kyverno policy shield
Kyverno enforces policies for Kubernetes resources. It wraps kubara in a visible shield for 7 seconds, so incidents cannot cost lives during that time.
Prometheus early warning
Prometheus makes dangerous signals visible before they become outages. It slows falling incidents for 6.5 seconds, giving you more time to get out of their way.
Argo CD sync wave
Argo CD synchronizes desired state from Git. A Sync Wave gives kubara a cute 6.5-second GitOps Dash, making left and right movement much faster.
Traefik route hint
Traefik routes traffic to the right destination. It highlights the safest lane for the next few seconds, based on where current incidents are falling.
cert-manager renewal
cert-manager renews certificates before they expire. For 60 seconds, kubara is immune to expired TLS certificate incidents.
External Secrets sync
External Secrets keeps Kubernetes Secrets synchronized with their source of truth. For 60 seconds, failed Secret sync incidents cannot hurt kubara.
DevOps experience
Experience turns known incident patterns into fast remediation. For 10 seconds, kubara automatically fires turquoise diagnosis lasers at incoming incidents and clears them before they reach the cluster.
Helm release
Helm packages and deploys a release as a chart. Its effect is a 7-second double-score release for every item you collect.
Terraform apply
Terraform provisions infrastructure declaratively. It creates a new Spoke cluster with 3 Nodes, adding 90 Capacity in one rare, high-impact pick-up.
Incidents
CrashLoopBackOff and OOMKilled are the hazards. Dodge them, or neutralize them with Reloader, Kyverno and Prometheus.
Security incidents
Image CVEs, expired TLS certificates and failed Secret syncs are additional hazards. They cost one heart just like runtime incidents; the matching protection buff or Kyverno's policy shield blocks them.
